The corporate media smear about Fox News being “state TV” is false.
There are plenty of voices at the network that do not support Donald Trump.
A big-name Fox News host stunned viewers with this confession about not supporting Trump.
As Conservative Revival reports:
Leftwing critics routinely attack Fox News as “state TV” because some primetime hosts support Donald Trump and his agenda.
But not everyone at Fox News is a fan of Trump.
And a popular Fox News host took Trump by surprise with this admission about not backing him.
Donald Trump continues to inch closer to declaring a 2024 Presidential campaign.
Trump’s been much more active on the media circuit as of late.
The latest interview Trump came with Fox News late night host Greg Gutfeld.
Gutfeld’s new show became the top rated after hours talk show besting leftwing comedians like Stephen Colbert.
Trump took advantage of Gutfeld’s growing audience for an interview that showcased another side of both Trump and Gutfeld.
Gutfeld told Trump that many on the left contracted severe cases of Trump Derangement Syndrome after something in the brains of Democrats broke after Trump defeated Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election.
“There was an irrational response to you. And I lost friends when I would defend you,” Gutfeld stated.
Trump snarked that Gutfeld gained a few friends.
“But you also gained friends,” Trump shot back.
Gutfeld admitted Trump was correct, but that he only gained friends after admitting he was wrong about not supporting Trump in 2016.
The popular Fox News host said he would battle family members that supported Trump as Gutfeld was initially in the Never Trump camp.
But Gutfeld explained that friends and family members never disowned him for opposing Trump.
Instead, Gutfeld recounted – it was only the supposedly “tolerant” liberal that exiled Gutfeld from their lives once the found out Gutfeld supported Trump.
“Yeah, you gain friends,” Gutfeld continued. “I didn’t listen to my family members were are voting for you… When I turned and started listening, then I lost all of my other friends.”
Gutfeld turned the question around on Trump asked Trump about losing friends in the entertainment and sports world that loved to pal around with Trump until their peers exerted social pressure on them to denounce Trump.
“Did it bother you to see the friends that you’ve had — lose these friends because you became president and they didn’t like what you were doing or became emotionally and irrationally kind of unhinged? Trump delusional. Trump derangement syndrome,” Gutfeld added.
“Why did people respond emotionally to you rather than rationally?” Gutfeld asked.
“It must be my personality,” Trump shrugged off the loss of friendships and even cracked a joke about it.
Donald Trump’s increased media presence is being taken as one hint that Trump is on the verge of launching a third presidential campaign.
This media tour also comes at a time when Joe Biden’s poll numbers continue to sink.
And Trump reportedly believes the opening is there for a Trump comeback.
