Other than Donald Trump, no Republican draws more hate from the liberal press than Ron DeSantis.
Now reporters are admitting why Democrats fear Governor DeSantis.
And the fake news media revealed four things about Ron DeSantis that make them lose it.
As American Patriot Daily reports:
Polls show that if Donald Trump does not run for re-election in 2024 Ron DeSantis is the favorite to win the GOP nomination.
That explains why the corporate media spreads so much misinformation and conspiracy theories about DeSantis.
But the real question is not why the media routinely lies about DeSantis, but what it is about DeSantis that terrifies the left so much.
Never Trumper-turned-liberal pundit David Jolly explained why during an appearance on MSNBC’s “Deadline: White House.”
When a Republican president is in office the corporate media frames their coverage around the narrative that the GOP president is a dangerous extremist out to oppress women and minorities while attempting to start World War Three.
After that president leaves office, the press develops “strange new respect” for the former Republican president painting them as a moderate so they can claim the next GOP president is a dangerous monster rising to the level of Hitler or Stalin because not even the previous Republican president would have charted such an extreme and anti-democratic path.
Jolly previewed this line of attack against Ron DeSantis should DeSantis run for president in 2024 claiming DeSantis is even more dangerous than Donald Trump.
“Ron DeSantis is far more dangerous than Donald Trump,” Jolly told host Nicolle Wallace.
Jolly warned that after Joe Biden and Dr. Fauci push America into a state of permanent pandemic Ron DeSantis would run for president on the platform of restoring freedom and economic growth to America by ending all COVID mandates.
“Ron DeSantis will announce he’s running for president on this notion of the free state of Florida,” Jolly added.
Jolly then listed four fights DeSantis took on and won that Democrats worry elevates DeSantis to the status of presidential frontrunner.
DeSantis banned critical race theory and mask mandates in schools, blocked businesses from imposing vaccine passports as a condition of entry, passed election integrity legislation to roll back some of the loosened pandemic voting standards and made vaccine mandates illegal.
“Florida’s not free if your kids can’t be exposed to the full curriculum that would make them smarter and better educated students. Florida’s not free if you can’t get a test or treatment for Covid. Florida’s not free if you don’t have access to the ballot box. Florida’s not free if you’re a voter and you vote and by a majority, determined home rule and then Governor DeSantis says, ‘I’m not going to let you do that’ and he knee-caps local voters,” Jolly ranted.
Jolly then took a turn into “1984” land adopting a “freedom is slavery” outlook on life in Florida claiming DeSantis banning mask requirements or leaving it up to individuals to choose if they wanted to take the vaccine was now authoritarianism.
“Florida’s not free,” Jolly exclaimed. “It’s a narrative that Ron DeSantis is very successfully selling, which is what makes him dangerous. It’s Ron DeSantis’ narrative of freedom. He’s really knee-capping democracy right now for people of Florida and he will successfully do it on the national stage should he get to the White House.”
Democrats view COVID as a permanent power grab.
And because of the fights Ron DeSantis picked and won in Florida, Democrats are terrified that Ron DeSantis is a Republican who can ride the backlash of the left’s COVID tyranny to the White House.
