Even during her time in the White House, raising Barron and shielding Barron from the ugliness of the left’s hatred for everything Trump was goal number one in her life.
But now that Barron is in college, Melania Trump is opening up about her home life in an effort to humanize the family.
In an interview with Fox News, Melania Trump explained that Barron was thrilled to be back home in New York City to attend college.
“He loves his classes and his professors,” Melania Trump declared.
“He’s doing well, he’s thriving and he’s enjoying to be in New York City again,” Melania Trump continued.
But it wasn’t always so easy.
In her memoir “Melania,” the former first lady revealed that the left exercised its institutional power to punish a teenage boy like Barron because Democrats couldn’t get over his father winning the presidency.
Melania wrote that a woke bank canceled her and Barron by denying them bank accounts just because of their last name.
“I was shocked and dismayed to learn that my long-time bank decided to terminate my account and deny my son the opportunity to open a new one,” Melania wrote.
Melania argued that discriminating against her and Barron because of political views should be considered a violation of civil rights laws just like it would be if the bank refused to do business with them over their religious faith.
“This decision appeared to be rooted in political discrimination, raising serious concerns about civil rights violations,” Melania added.
Melania Trump decried the woke mob’s power in American life and bemoaned how much power the left amassed in corporate and cultural institutions.
“The ‘cancel mob’ now includes corporations, traditional media, influential social media figures, and cultural institutions,” Melania continued. “This disheartening trend reflects the current socio-political landscape in the United States.”
“The cancellation continues — an attitude by businesses both big and small that never ceases to surprise me,” Melania Trump lamented.
Melania also wrote that she was a successful businesswoman before entering politics and banks were denying her the right to do business out of partisan rancor while at the same time the Obamas and Bidens got rich just by monetizing the fact that they once held power.
“It is ironic that my business acumen is criticized, while other former government officials receive praise for similar endeavors, such as security multimillion-dollar media deals. This disparity can only be explained by biases related to my last name and political affiliation,” Melania Trump concluded.
