Fox News continues to change before everyone’s eyes.
No one saw this latest move coming.
And a top talent left Fox News in this big shake up.
As American Patriot Daily reports:
Former Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Donna Brazile became the latest on-air talent to leave Fox News.
Brazile announced she was ending her time at Fox to head back to ABC.
Over the last several years Brazile was one of the liberal commentators on Fox.
In an email to The New York Times responding to questions about her announcement, Brazile stated that Fox News never censored her views and that Brazile valued her time at Fox believing that it was important to expose all Americans to a variety of viewpoints.
“Fox never censored my views in any way,” Brazile told The New York Times. “Everyone treated me courteously as a colleague.” Brazile added, “I believe it’s important for all media to expose their audiences to both progressive and conservative viewpoints. With the election and President Biden’s first 100 days behind us, I’ve accomplished what I wanted at Fox News.”
During the election Donald Trump pointed to Brazile’s prominent presence on the air as evidence Fox was biased against him and shifting to the left.
Brazile leaving for ABC was not the only on-air change regarding one of Fox’s liberal on-air talents.
The day before Brazile announced her departure from Fox News, left-wing commentator Juan Williams announced he would no longer serve as the lone liberal co-host of Fox’s popular “The Five” program.
Some Fox News critics took these moves as Fox narrowing its on-air editorial viewpoint to only featuring pro-Trump voices.
Since Donald Trump left office, Fox’s given Trump supporters such as Greg Gutfeld, Trey Gowdy and Dan Bongino new shows.
Fox also moved Trump-supporting Rachel Campos-Duffy into the co-host role on “Fox and Friends Weekend” after Fox and Jedediah Bila—who dismissed Trump’s claims of mass voter fraud in the 2020 election—mutually agreed to part ways.
However, Fox did announce that a rotating cast of liberal commentators would audition to permanently fill Williams’ spot on “The Five.”
And registered Democrat and bona fide Trump-hater Chris Wallace is still the face of Fox’s news division.
Fox News CEO Lachlan Murdoch defended his network’s coverage as “center-right” noting Fox faced competition on the left from CNN and MSNBC and a challenge on the right from Newsmax and One America News Network.
Fox comes under greater scrutiny for its on-airtalent and programming decisions because it is the biggest network that offers an alternative to the pro-Democrat narrative that ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC and CNN are framing their coverage around.
The activists that work at these other networks—especially those at CNN—do not consider Fox a news organization and believe it should face censorship because its primetime opinion hosts criticize Democrats.
Fox will replace Donna Brazile.
Unlike CNN and MSNBC who have no authentic conservative voices on their air—and instead claim a bunch of Never Trumpers that echo Democrat talking points are true conservatives—Fox will elevate a liberal voice that speaks for the current zeitgeist of the Democrat Party.
