The bad news continues to tumble in for CNN.
First, the network flushed all their credibility down the drain relentlessly promoting the fake news Russian collusion conspiracy theory.
But when it rains it pours and CNN is in big trouble after this network’s go-to star just got arrested.
From March to May 2018, CNN turned their programming over to Stormy Daniels lawyer Michael Avenatti.
Avenatti appeared on CNN and MSNBC a whopping total of 147 times – with 74 of those appearances coming on fake news, anti-Trump CNN.
Last year the media came down with a fever and the only cure was Michael Avenatti.

The celebrity lawyer was on CNN so much that so-called “reporters” even talked him up as a Presidential candidate.
CNN’s chief media “reporter” Brian Stelter – who promoted conspiracy theories about Melania Trump being “missing” and President Trump’s mental health – claimed he took Avenatti seriously as a Presidential candidate.
However, what goes up must come down.
Avenatti was indicted on charges in New York and Los Angeles for extortion, embezzling client funds and bank fraud.
Prosecutors claim Avenatti – and co-conspirator Mark Geragos, who is also the lawyer for America-hating national anthem protestor Colin Kaepernick and hate crime hoaxer Jussie Smollett – tried to extort 20 million dollars from Nike.
Avenatti threatened to expose a payment scheme to college basketball recruits unless Nike met Avenatti’s demands.
Over multiple meetings, Avenatti demanded anywhere from 1.5 million to 25 million dollars in payments on behalf of one of his clients to keep secret an arrangement to pay high profile college basketball recruits.
They refused and instead called law enforcement.
Law enforcement then recorded a phone call where Avenatti again demanded payment and was promptly arrested.
Avenatti’s lick continued to turn sour when prosecutors in Los Angeles also argued that Avenatti posed a flight risk and should be remanded to prison while he awaits trial.
This represents a stunning fall from grace.
Left-wing cable news networks like CNN lapped up Avennatti’s dramatic appearances where he hurled outrageous charges such as predicting Robert Mueller indicting Donald Trump, Jr. by the end of 2018.
If you thought Michael Avenatti was joking about running for president in 2020, turn on CNN right now.
Because he is not joking.

Avenatti’s legal troubles come as no surprise.
His past is littered with questionable dealings.
A woman won a discrimination suit for $126,000 against a coffee chain run by two parent companies controlled by Avenatti.
Avenatti’s companies never paid the victim a dime.
In addition, a former business associate of Avenatti’s claimed Avenatti still owed him $160,000 for coffee he supplied two of Avenatti’s companies.
Fake news networks like CNN knew all this.
They have access to Google.
They just didn’t care.
What mattered was that Avenatti was the media equivalent of a suicide bomber.
So-called “journalists” sicced Avenatti on Trump to watch him explode in hopes Avenantti would inflict maximum political damage to Donald Trump.
The fake news media’s reputation is cratering because the American people see that the press threw away the pretense of being neutral observers.
The way the press acts now is the equivalent of the referees competing alongside one of the teams on the playing field.
