Senator John Fetterman recently returned to Washington.
Fetterman’s allies in the media tried to pretend like everything is back to normal.
John Fetterman got caught breaking one rule that exposed this monstrous cover-up.
Fetterman entered the hospital to receive treatment for the clinical depression that stemmed from the fact that Fetterman realized he would likely never fully recover from the near-fatal stroke he suffered which left him impaired.
But after six weeks under doctor’s care the corporate media resumed trying to gaslight the public into forgetting about the fact that Fetterman’s stroke raised serious doubts about his ability to carry out the duties of his office.
Instead, the Associated Press focused on the fact that Fetterman was back to cosplaying as a working-class man of the people by strutting around the Senate wearing a hoodie and shorts.
An Associated Press story referred to Fetterman’s “relaxed, comfortable style.”
Fetterman also found a way around violating the Senate dress code rules through a childish scheme to cast his votes from the doorway of the Democrat cloakroom.
“He votes from the doorway of the Democratic cloakroom or the side entrance, making sure his ‘yay’ or ‘nay’ is recorded before ducking back out,” the Associated Press added.
The Associated Press even quoted one of Fetterman’s Democrat colleagues exclaiming that Fetterman dressing like a bum is a sign he is in good health.
“He’s setting a new dress code,” Senator Peter Welch (D-VT) told the Associated Press. “He was struggling. And now he’s a joyful person to be around.”
In reality, Fetterman is a privileged elite who hails from a wealthy family.
Fetterman attended the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and lived off an allowance his rich parents handed to him until he was nearly 50 years old.
But Fetterman rose to political heights in Pennsylvania by creating a mythical brand of himself as the regular Joe from Western Pennsylvania who was one of the guys down at the VFW slinging back beers on Friday.
The Associated Press gave away why the media was so focused on the “Fetterman wardrobe shows he is back” narrative further down in the story when the reporter admitted that Fetterman is “still halting and sometimes hard to understand, due to his stroke.”
Fetterman’s team recently got caught red-handed doctoring his quotes to make Fetterman sound coherent.
During a hearing about the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank, Fetterman rambled through a disjointed mess of a question as the stroke left Fetterman unable to translate his thoughts into clear and coherent speech.
“The Republicans want to give a work requirement for SNAP,” Fetterman rambled. “You know, for a uh, uh, uh, a hungry family has to have these, this kind of penalties, or these some kinds of word — working uh, require — Shouldn’t you have a working requirement, after we sail your bank, billions of your bank? Because you seem we were preoccupied, uh when, then SNAP requirements for works, for hungry people, but not about protecting the tax, the tax papers, you know, that will bail them out of whatever does about a bank to crash it.”
The quote Fetterman’s office relayed to corporate media outlets bore little resemblance to what Fetterman actually said.
“Shouldn’t you have a working requirement after we bail out your bank? Republicans seem to be more preoccupied with SNAP requirements for hungry people than protecting taxpayers that have to bail out these banks,” the quote provided by Fetterman’s team read.
From the moment Fetterman suffered this stroke the press was afraid to tell the truth about the reality of Fetterman’s health.
That’s because reporters worry that if they come clean about the stroke and its impact on Fetterman it will end his career.
