CNN is losing ratings and influence.
The leftwing propaganda network is facing a tough decision.
And Elon Musk obliterated CNN with this reality check.
As American Patriot Daily reports:
CNN media reporter Oliver Darcy was one of the many “hall monitor” types that leveraged their ideological allies at Twitter to ban and censor conservatives for supporting Donald Trump, opposing the Democrat Party, and questioning the tyrannical and disastrous COVID lockdown and mask mandate regime.
But now Darcy and his allies believe they are the troops storming the beach on D-Day by expressing their outrage at Musk for fairly enforcing Twitter’s terms of service and suspending the accounts of six liberal activists for real-time doxxing Musk by tweeting out links to an account that tracked his private plane.
Musk said this doxxing led to a stalker terrorizing his son and amounted to an assassination attempt.
Internet entrepreneur and original PayPal COO David Sacks posted a poll on his Twitter account asking “should real-time doxxing be allowed on Twitter?”
Over 70 percent of respondents support suspending accounts that broke Twitter’s rules about real-time doxxing and Sacks noted the largest number of people backed not granting journalists special exemption to the rules.
Sacks wrote:
72% say Twitter should not allow real-time doxxing. —> 71% say temporary account suspensions are a reasonable way to enforce the policy. —> 84% say the policy should be applied to corporate journalists the same as everyone else.
“Interesting that the strongest result is for treating the corporate media the same as everyone else. I suspect this is why they’re acting so hysterically right now.”
Musk responded to the media outrage by dismissing them as a bunch of narcissistic, spoiled children that believe they live on a higher plane of existence than everyone else.
“They think they’re better than everyone else,” Musk wrote.
Musk admitted there were some good journalists but far too many were ideological activists completely full of their importance.
“Not all journalists are bad, but far too many are,” Musk added.
Darcy showed how detached from reality members of the press are by not even understanding that the old Twitter regime forced offenders to delete tweets that got their accounts suspended before they could be reinstated.
In one tweet Darcy – who tried to get Tucker Carlson and Fox News banned – complained that CNN activist Donie O’Sullivan had to follow the same rules as everyone else and delete his rule-breaking tweet before he could be reinstated.
“Musk has restored several of the journalists he banned. But there is an apparent condition to their return. A notice on @donie’s account said he’d been suspended for violating Twitter rules. It required him to delete a tweet before he’d be allowed to post, with option to appeal,” Darcy wrote.
Darcy and others in the media cheered Twitter banning Donald Trump.
But these liberal activists supported internet censorship because they believed their allies would run Twitter forever and the rules would never apply to them.
Now that Elon Musk is running Twitter and will not run Twitter like an arm of the Democrat Party the terms of service now apply to the press.
And that has leftists at CNN and other left-wing outlets up in arms.
