Fox News prides itself on not giving in to leftwing pressure.
But Fox News just folded.
And Fox News canceled a big name after this liberal media uproar.
As American Patriot Daily reports:
Reporter Lara Logan is one of the lead investigative journalists at Fox News.
Logan has her own show on Fox Nation – the network’s streaming service.
In an appearance on “Fox News Primetime” Logan claimed people around the world told her they compared Dr. Fauci to Nazi Doctor Josef Mengele who butchered and slaughtered Jews during the Holocaust.
“What you see on Dr. Fauci – this is what people say to me: that he doesn’t represent science to them. He represents Joseph Mengele. Dr. Josef Mengele, the Nazi doctor who did experiments on Jews during the second World War and in the concentration camps. And I am talking about people all across the world are saying this because the response from Covid, what it has done to countries everywhere, what it has done to civil liberties, the suicide rates, the poverty, it has obliterated economies,” Logan stated.
To many, Logan’s comments crossed a line as nothing compares to the horrors of the Holocaust.
But liberals regularly compared Donald Trump and his supporters to Nazis with no hint of complaint by the left.
Joe Biden even publicly compared Texas Senator Ted Cruz to Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels.
Fox News appeared to take immediate but quiet action.
CNN’s Fox-obsessed activist Oliver Darcy reported that Logan did not appear on Fox News in the week after her comments.
“Has Lara Logan been quietly benched by Fox News? All indications are yes,” Darcy reported. “Fox isn’t commenting on the matter, but prior to that Monday appearance, Logan was a mainstay on the network. Now she has disappeared.”
Fox News never made a public comment about Logan’s status.
But it did appear that Fox News did bench Logan as the previous two weeks Logan made her usual appearances across Fox’s various programs.
Caleb Howe of Mediaite reports:
Darcy may have a point. Looking into some immediately prior appearances, we found that for the week of November 21 to 27, Logan was on that Sunday on Fox & Friends, and that Friday on The Faulkner Focus. That week the network also aired the Fox Nation “Patriot Awards” show, where Logan was a presenter.
The previous week, Logan was on with Trey Gowdy, Sean Hannity, Fox & Friends, Fox News Primetime, The Five, and America’s Newsroom with Bill Hemmer and Dana Perino, where she spoke with Sandra Smith about terror and promoted her special on Fox Nation. So she regularly appears both on the network’s opinion shows and the dayside news programs.
Liberal critics of Fox News seized on Logan’s comments to make it seem like conservatives embraced extreme and violent rhetoric to oppose Joe Biden and Dr. Fauci’s never-ending COVID mandates.
It’s part of an emerging narrative on the left that Republicans descended into radicalism, bigotry and un-American violence to try and scare swing voters into supporting Democrats in 2022.
