Fox News is supposed to be the counterbalance to the corporate media.
Someone didn’t get the memo.
And Fox News just attacked Ron DeSantis for this unbelievable reason.
As Conservative Revival reports:
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is one of the rising stars of the Republican Party.
But right now, Governor DeSantis can’t catch a break from Fox News.
And you won’t believe why Fox News just picked a fight with Ron DeSantis.
After the tragedy in Uvalde, Texas Major League Baseball’s Tampa Bay Rays tweeted out their support for Everytown USA, the gun grabbing group founded by billionaire former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
Bloomberg founded Everytown with the ultimate goal of banning and confiscating every firearm in America.

Governor DeSantis already made it clear when he took on and beat Disney that he has no time for woke corporations throwing their weight behind the political left and then asking Republicans for special favors.
And Governor DeSantis proved he meant business by vetoing a 35 million dollars earmark in the state budget to improve the Rays spring training facility.
“I don’t support giving taxpayer dollars to professional sports stadiums, period,” Governor DeSantis stated.
The Governor also vetoed the bill to send a message to the Rays to keep their woke politics to themselves.
Outkick.com exclusively reports:
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis plans to veto a $35 million legislation for a Pasco County facility that’s earmarked for the Tampa Bay Rays’ spring training, OutKick has learned.
DeSantis’s decision is in response to the Rays politicizing recent shootings in Buffalo and Uvalde ahead of a matchup with the Yankees in May…
…The decision follows DeSantis’ response to Disney earlier this year. In April, DeSantis revoked Disney’s special tax and self-governing privileges after the company injected itself into the debate over a Florida parental rights law, inaccurately dubbed as “Don’t Say Gay.”
But of all the corporate media outlets that usually snipe at Governor DeSantis Fox News stood out.
The network published a hit piece on Governor DeSantis chock full of quotes from Rays’ fans whining that their team would not receive special government privileges and handouts.
Fox News reported:
“We as taxpayers should just worry about bringing lots of … fans to the area and support that,” Bonnie, of Bradenton, told Fox News. “The governor has no business in that.”
“I agree with the first part, taxpayers should not be funding public teams,” Kevin from Valrico, Florida, said of DeSantis’ comments.
“I disagree about his latter part,” he added. “The government should not be telling industry what they believe or what they don’t believe.”
Jonathan, of St. Petersburg, told Fox News: “The governor … needs to be more tactful. They wouldn’t have done it if it hadn’t been for Uvalde.”
“It’s not like every day they’re spouting their political beliefs,” he continued.
Bonnie said: “Gov. DeSantis wants everyone to be free and have freedoms. I think that every company should be free to support what they want.”
Conservatives have long been frustrated by Major League Baseball becoming the latest American institution to fall under the sway of the left.
In 2021, Commission Rob Manfred relocated the All-Star Game from Atlanta to Denver after Stacey Abrams and Joe Biden urged a boycott based on The Big Lie that Georgia’s new election integrity law was Jim Crow 2.0.
Now a MLB team tried to throw their weight behind disarming American citizens.
Ron DeSantis said enough.
And Fox News for some unknown reason attacked DeSantis standing up to a woke corporation.
