Former Speaker of the House Paul Ryan is on the warpath.
Ryan is one of the RINOs looking to take back control of the Republican Party.
And Paul Ryan just attacked Fox News for one reason no one saw coming.
As Conservative Revival reports:
Paul Ryan is a leading member of the RINO old guard in the Republican Party along with George W. Bush, Mitt Romney and Mitch McConnell.
Ryan – like Bush, Romney and McConnell – supports open borders, amnesty for illegal aliens, globalist trade deals and endless foreign wars.
Donald Trump and his MAGA movement kicked aside that establishment and their support for the globalist agenda when Trump won the 2016 election.
In an interview on CNBC following the tragedy in Texas Ryan whined about the fact that the conservative grassroots pressured Republicans to back up their campaign vows to defend the Second Amendment.
In Ryan’s telling, it was a shame Republicans didn’t join with Democrats to ban and confiscate firearms from law-abiding American citizens after the tragedy in Texas because of “polarization” – which is establishment speak for Republican voters elected too many conservatives who then fulfilled their campaign promises to defend the Second Amendment.
“What is new is, in this sort of 21st century digital age, polarization is obviously rampant in America, but it comes to Congress,” Ryan stated.
Ryan then claimed there was an “entertainment” wing of the GOP – which is establishment speak for Republican elected officials that refuse to march along to the beat of the swamp’s drum.
“We have an entertainment wing of the House of the Republican and Democratic Party,” Ryan added.
Ryan bemoaned the old days where members of Congress would get used to “the way business is done” and grow government, infringe on liberties and attack freedom.
“The old meritocracy that takes 10, 20 years to climb of being a good policymaker? You can just leapfrog that whole process, be a really good entertainer, have an incredible [digital] presence, and forget about policymaking and curate a brand for yourself. And so you have entertainers in Congress now,” Ryan stated.
Ryan then admitted when he became Speaker of the House he completely surrendered to the left and spent his time passing budgets that funded Barack Obama’s agenda and stabbed conservatives in the back on their key priorities such as when Ryan opposed border wall construction.
“When I decided to become speaker, which actually wasn’t my goal, I knew I was capping myself politically but that was fine. I was okay with that. Because I knew the job requires consensus dealmaking,” Ryan continued.
Ryan then blamed the fact that Republicans would not sit down and agree with Democrats on bills to gut the Second Amendment and open the borders to millions of illegal aliens with new amnesty on Fox News.
“But that is bad for a brand, that is bad if you are going to entertain, if you’re going to try and show that you’re better than everybody else within your own ecosystem,” Ryan declared.
“People get their device, they get their cable, their website that algorithmically tells them what they want to hear, that self reinforces and that divides us,” Ryan concluded.
Ryan sits on the board of Fox News.
But even though Ryan claims to be a Republican Ryan wants to go back to the days when Mitt Romney and George W. Bush would consent to the liberal media’s pro-Democrat Party narrative and talking points while apologizing for disagreeing and accepting defeat while never fighting back.
