The coronavirus has caused serious disruption across the globe.
Some media outlets have been irresponsible in their news coverage of the pandemic.
And the New York Times just got called out for their embarrassing coronavirus hypocrisy.
The coronavirus that originated in Wuhan, China has now spread to multiple continents and led to extreme measures by governments.
As the outbreak spread, the World Health Organization (WHO) named the coronavirus COVID-19.
Liberals have tried to claim that referring to the pandemic as the Wuhan virus or Wuhan coronavirus is “racist” and “xenophobic.”
The New York Times led the absurd brigade.
Some conservatives, including Mike Pompeo, Sen. Tom Cotton and Rep. Paul Gosar, are using the term “Wuhan virus” to describe Covid-19. Critics accused the term, which goes against the recommendation of health officials, of being racist and xenophobic. https://t.co/z31zlTHCaL

It’s ridiculous to suggest that a virus that originated in Wuhan cannot be called the Wuhan virus.
It was referred to as such well before the WHO made their declaration about COVID-19.
But if it’s so “racist” and “xenophobic,” then the New York Times has a lot of explaining to do.
The Wuhan coronavirus spreading from China is now likely to become a pandemic that circles the globe, according to experts. But scientists do not yet know how lethal the new coronavirus is. https://t.co/u1KezmOoq2

The New York Times has referred to COVID-19 as the Wuhan coronavirus many times over the past few months.
Now they’re using that phrase as a cudgel to hit Republicans even though they were using it five minutes ago.
This is the left in a nutshell.
They declare themselves morally right, then attack anyone who doesn’t agree with their worldview.
Referring to a disease by its origin is nothing new.
COVID-19 means absolutely nothing to anyone, but the Wuhan virus is distinct and gives pertinent information about the outbreak.
The left simply loves playing word police.
The Communist Party of China has to be giddy over the self-censorship among the American press.
China botched the outbreak from the beginning, censored anyone who tried to tell the truth about it, and lied about its origin.
Since the inception of the outbreak in Wuhan, there have been close to 170,000 cases with over 6,500 deaths, most of which occurred in China.
The fight over the virus nomenclature is part of China’s efforts to shift blame away from themselves and save face.
This isn’t the first time a deadly virus has originated in China and it likely won’t be the last due to the government’s promotion of wildlife food markets.
The SARS outbreak of 2003 was traced to a wildlife wet market in Southern China.
Using the term Wuhan virus is the least of the world’s concerns right now, but liberals need someone to blame.
