Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is trying to whip up a campaign of lies about the GOP.
Democrats saw this tactic work in the 2022 midterm election.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez claims Republicans target her for terrorist attacks.
As American Patriot Daily reports:
When Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez appeared on CNN guest host John Berman asked Ocasio-Cortez about an image from the election for speaker of the House where she sat and talked with conservative Arizona Congressman Paul Gosar.
Nancy Pelosi kicked Gosar off his committees last year after Gosar posted an anime video with his head superimposed on a character swinging a sword and one with Ocasio-Cortez’s face.
Ocasio-Cortez and the Democrats then falsely claimed Gosar tried to inspire assassination attempts against Ocasio-Cortez.
This came up because Republicans removed Ilhan Omar from her seat on the Foreign Affairs Committee over her litany of anti-Semitic remarks.
Berman asked Ocasio-Cortez if Gosar apologized for the video.
Ocasio-Cortez said no and then claimed Gosar helped create an unsafe working environment for her.
“No, no. There was never an apology. But I think what a lot of people sometimes fail to understand is that when a workplace has been made unsafe for a person, it is then up to that individual to try to survive on their own. This is not an institution that protects, this is not a party that protects people that they disagree with,” Ocasio-Cortez began.
Ocasio-Cortez then informed Berman that she told Gosar that although she agreed with him on nothing he should oppose Kevin McCarthy for speaker.
Gosar was one of the holdouts opposing McCarthy until the end and Ocasio-Cortez admitted to Berman that they did hold common ground on that front.
“But that being said, what it comes to with those remarks with Representative Gosar, one of the things I told him is, ‘I can’t stand what you did, and I can’t stand what you stand for, but I don’t think that you should support Kevin McCarthy for speaker either.’ And, you know, that’s one thing on one day that I think both of us were in alignment on,” Ocasio-Cortez added.
Ocasio-Cortez then showed she is master at left-wing practices of perpetual victimhood and claiming speech is violence by accusing Gosar and other Republicans of engaging in “stochastic terrorism” against her.
“I think it’s uncomfortable serving with people who engage in what many experts deem stochastic terrorism, which is the incitement of violence in a — which is an incitement of violence using digital means and large platforms so that individual themselves may not be the one that’s wielding a weapon,” Ocasio-Cortez continued.
Ocasio-Cortez then claimed without citing any evidence that she needed a military-style security escort to go outside her home.
“But I have had to ride, as has Representative Omar, I’ve consistently had to ride in 20,000-pound armored vehicles, you know, engaging in some of the most gruesome threats that you can imagine that were incited by Republican members. This is not just about a tweet. It is about what life looks like and the marshaling of hundreds, thousands, if not millions of people into doing something. And Donald Trump knows that very well, and he uses and used his rallies very strategically in order to engage in political intimidation of what he deemed his political enemies,” Ocasio-Cortez concluded.
Stochastic terrorism is a new favorite buzz phrase on the left as it means encouraging terrorism with words.
Democrats want to criminalize speech — and specifically conservative speech — so they are trying to create a legal standard that every time a conservative criticizes a Democrat it is an act of inciting terrorist attacks.
