Donald Trump is about to run for president again.
But Trump has something to say first.
Donald Trump stunned Ben Carson with this brutal admission.
As Black Eye Politics reports:
Former President Donald Trump is warning that America’s freedom is under attack like never before.
“Ben, there’s never been a period of time like this. The country is going bad,” the former president said to his Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson in a new Daily Wire+ documentary called “My Dinner with Trump,” where Trump was recorded talking to members of his administration.
“You have the media is shut, closed, not free, corrupt as can be, and probably scared. You cannot get the word out unless you’re really good, and we’re pretty good, and we’re getting the word out.” Trump added.
Trump noted that the leftist media is far more corrupt than it ever has been before and Carson noted the danger of free speech being limited by non-government sources.
“I don’t think people actually recognize what’s happening because we talk about liberties and freedom of speech. They think that that can only be taken away by the federal government,” Carson responded. “But the fact of the matter is Big Tech and the media take it away with a complicit government is exactly the same effect. And that’s what we have to make sure people understand.”
Trump noted the way that the mainstream media biasedly covers Republicans.
“If you do something spectacular, they don’t talk about it. If you do something not so good, they’ll make it into a travesty. If the other side does something bad, really bad, you will never see it,” Trump added. “You will never find it … they erase it, they cancel it. And there’s never been a period of time like that in our country’s history. There’s never been. And that’s the way communism starts. And that’s where communism goes. And we can’t let it happen. We’re not going to let it happen.”
Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg claimed in August that Facebook suppressed the Hunter Biden laptop story after being warned about “Russian propaganda” by the FBI.
Zuckerberg told podcaster Joe Rogan that the FBI spoke to top Facebook officials right before the election to warn them that a major dump of Russian disinformation was coming.
The FBI responded by admitting that they typically operate in that fashion to try and stop information.
“The FBI routinely notifies U.S. private sector entities, including social media providers, of potential threat information, so that they can decide how to better defend against threats,” the Bureau said in a statement Friday night, adding that it “cannot ask, or direct, companies to take action on information received.”
