Swamp Republicans always want voters to think they are reliable conservatives.
Appearances are deceiving.
And one top Republican is hiding a secret that could end their career.
As Conservative Revival reports:
When Dan Crenshaw won election to Congress in 2018, the GOP establishment saw a rising star.
Crenshaw losing an eye serving in Afghanistan as part of the Navy SEALs combined with his youth presented a compelling biography.
But Crenshaw was always a RINO.
Congressman Crenshaw expressed support for red flag confiscation laws.
This dangerous gun grab law allows liberal judges to order government agents to kick doors down and seize American’s firearms.
Crenshaw also once compared Jesus to fictional heroes as opposed to real life heroes such as Rosa Parks and Ronald Reagan.
But Congressman Crenshaw is also a secret Never Trumper.
Former Trump aides brought this fact to light after Congressman Crenshaw blasted Joe Biden’s outrageous decision to negotiate a new Iranian nuclear deal with Communist China and Russia.
“While everyone is distracted Biden is about to walk us into another disastrous Iran nuclear deal,” Congressman Crenshaw posted on Twitter.
Donald Trump withdrew the United States from Barack Obama’s disastrous 2015 Iranian nuclear deal that would have allowed the murderous regime in Iran to one day acquire a nuclear weapon.
Not only is Joe Biden reconstituting that deal, but Biden is also looking to lift sanctions on Iranian oil production as opposed to ramping up American energy supplies.
Former Trump White House aide Cliff Simms called out Congressman Crenshaw for his hypocrisy on this matter.
Simms wrote that he prepared a line for Crenshaw’s speech for the 2020 Republican National Convention when Crenshaw would credit President Trump for exiting the Iranian nuclear deal.
Congressman Crenshaw refused to read that line as well as say President Trump’s name during his speech.
“I added a sentence to your Republican National Convention remarks about Trump ripping up the Iran nuke deal and you refused to say it. So feel free to keep tweeting, but you wouldn’t even acknowledge Trump actually pulling out of the “disastrous” deal when given the opportunity,” Simms wrote in response to Crenshaw.
Crenshaw’s speech stood out because Crenshaw refused to say President Trump’s name.
The nominating convention is effectively a four-day televised pep rally for the candidate.
Since Crenshaw refused to fully participate and credit President Trump’s achievements in office, the Trump campaign removed Crenshaw from the primetime speaking lineup.
Crenshaw has spent his four years in Congress trying to hide this face from conservatives so he can run for President in 2024 as the heir to the John McCain-George W. Bush wing of the Republican Party.
But Crenshaw’s true Never Trump colors are impossible to hide.
