An arrest caused major embarrassment for Nancy Pelosi.
But that wasn’t even the worst part of the story.
And you’ll be red with rage when you see how a judge handled this Pelosi jail sentence.
As Black Eye Politics reports:
America’s two-tier justice system was on display once again.
While Democrats try to engineer fake crimes to lock up Donald Trump a prominent Democrat once again found themselves on the receiving end of leniency from the court.
A judge sentenced Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Paul Pelosi, to five days in prison following police arresting Paul Pelosi for driving under the influence (DUI).
However, Pelosi got credit for time served and conduct for four of the days and the fifth day Pelosi was supposed to spend in prison will instead consist of work release and community service.
Nancy Pelosi’s husband, Paul, just pled guilty to a DUI charge stemming from his May car accident and arrest.
According to court records, obtained by TMZ, Pelosi pled guilty to one count of DUI. He was sentenced to three years probation and 5 days of jail time, with credit for time served.
As part of the probation terms, Pelosi has to complete 8 hours of a court work program, do a three-month drinking and driving course and put an ignition interlock device on his car for a year. He also has to pay a $150 fine.
Police arrested Pelosi on suspicion of DUI after Pelosi allegedly got into an accident with another car.
TMZ also reports:
The CHP officers who responded say Pelosi had “objective signs and symptoms of alcohol intoxication” — watery eyes, slurred speech and a “strong odor” of alcohol on his breath.
According to the police report, Pelosi handed officers his “11-99 Foundation” card when they asked him for ID … the foundation provides financial assistance and scholarships to CHP officers and their families.
He was charged with 2 misdemeanors the following month — Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol Causing Injury, and Driving with .08% Blood Alcohol Level or Higher Causing Injury. Cops say his BAC was .082%, just over the legal limit.
Right now in America it does not look like Democrats ever have to pay a price for their misdeeds.
A Washington, D.C. jury stacked with Hillary Clinton voters and donors acquitted Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann of making false statements to the FBI about the Trump-Russian collusion hoax.
Paul Pelosi now walks away with a slap on the wrist.
That treatment pales in comparison to Republicans.
When federal agents raided former Deputy Attorney General Jeffrey Clark’s house as part of the January 6 witch hunt the FBI made Clark stand outside his house in his underwear in order to humiliate him.
FBI agents threw Trump advisor Peter Navarro in leg irons when they arrested him on contempt of Congress charges as opposed to arranging a time for Navarro to surrender himself.
And of course the outrage of ordering an FBI assault team to put Trump’s home under siege was just the latest example of Democrats using the justice system as their personal score-settling device.
