The anti-American left is on the march and they’re growing in numbers.
Monuments are coming down and history is being rewritten while journalists and politicians cheer it on.
Now Democrats want to replace the National Anthem with a song you won’t believe.
There’s no question that America is under attack from a domestic enemy.
The radical left’s takeover of the Democrat Party is happening at a startling pace.
Many people are signing up for a radical program without understanding its intent.
For example, the group Black Lives Matter has been fully exposed as a Marxist organization whose donation page funnels cash into the coffers of the Democrat National Committee.
The New York Times was essentially ceded to the upstart radicals within the organization after a successful coup attempt.
Former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick started the anti-American anthem protests by kneeling during the “Star-Spangled Banner.”
The left swore that kneeling was simply a protest against police brutality and had nothing to do with running down America.
Now that same left wants to replace the national anthem.
Yahoo Music ran a piece where left-wing authors and historians agreed that the national anthem had to go, and one of their replacements was John Lennon’s communist fever dream “Imagine.”
The song contains lyrics such as:
“Imagine there’s no heaven. It’s easy if you try.
[…]
Imagine there’s no countries. It isn’t hard to do.
[…]
Imagine no possessions. I wonder if you can.”
Another suggestion from the Yahoo article was Woody Guthrie’s “This Land Is Your Land.”
Guthrie was a lifelong communist sympathizer who wrote the song as a response to the patriotic “God Bless America.”
“This Land Is Your Land” is also the song Bernie Sanders joyfully belted with comrades during his 1980s trip to the Soviet Union.
The anti-American streak of the left is rearing its ugly head.
This is the product of 50 years of Marxist indoctrination on college campuses and left-wing messaging in movies, music, and now sports.
The thought among the left now is that America was founded in 1619 to protect the institution of slavery.
This ahistorical perspective won the New York Times a Pulitzer Prize and will soon be taught in high schools.
Kneeling for the national anthem is supposed to be some form of protest against an oppressive superstructure, but now only those who oppose anthem kneeling are punished.
America needs to quickly rediscover its patriotism or the country cannot last – which is precisely the aim of the radicals.
As monuments of abolitionists and Confederate leaders are ripped down, Americans need to take a stand and tell the radicals something they rarely hear these days: “No.”
