Megyn Kelly and Donald Trump’s feud helped define the 2016 Republican primary.
Kelly famously tried to take out Trump at the first debate and tensions only spiraled out of control from there.
But now Megyn Kelly just ended her feud with Trump in the one way no one ever expected.
Since being chased out of her job at NBC by social justice warriors Megyn Kelly is on a bit of a rehab tour with Trump supporters.
Kelly previously attacked Robert Mueller’s un-American assertion that Donald Trump was guilty unless ‘exonerated’ by the special counsel.
The former Fox News host did not stop there.
Kelly tweeted out an article recapping left-wing comedian Bill Maher’s appearance on Chris Cuomo’s CNN show.
Maher stunned Cuomo by attacking the liberal ‘PC police’ and stating he understood why Americans supported Donald Trump when the President stood up to the Stalinist speech police.
The HBO “Real Time” host told Cuomo that social justice warriors were a “cancer on progressivism.
“I go after them because they need going after,” Maher told Cuomo. “They don’t help themselves a lot. I think this far left political correctness is a cancer on progressivism.”
Maher continued by explaining Trump’s anti-PC appeal to Americans fed up with “woke” liberals running around calling every American racist, sexist, homophobic because of word choice of having taco night as a social outing on a college campus.
“When you talk to Trump supporters, they’re not blind to his flaws but they always say he’s not politically correct. I don’t think you can overestimate how much people have been choking on political correctness and hate it. There were two studies about this recently … The vast majority of liberals in this country hate it. They think political correctness has gone way too far. No one likes to be living on egg shells,” Maher concluded
Kelly chimed in with her agreement.
“I have criticized Bill Maher many times (and vice versa) but the man is dead right about the pc police & their fake self-righteousness,” Kelly tweeted.
What surprised many Trump supporters was these same enforcers of political correctness backed Kelly in her feud with Trump.
They falsely excused Trump of sexism when Trump made his remarks that Kelly had blood coming out of her eyes, nose and “wherever” after the first Republican debate when Kelly tried to embarrass him with a humiliating personal question.
The roving online outrage mob that Maher and Kelly rightly claim are stifling free speech in America rushed to Kelly’s side to claim Trump made a crude and offensive attack on Kelly.
That was a lie.
But it also made it all the more surprising that Kelly would rebel against the anti-free speech totalitarians on the left when they formerly made it a common cause during the 2016 campaign.
Liberal Propaganda Exposed will continue to keep you up to date on the efforts by the left to silence speech in America under the guise of political correctness.
