Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden worked for 19 months to push the most radical agenda in American history.
Now there is tension between the two.
And Nancy Pelosi torched Joe Biden with a double cross that no one saw coming.
As American Patriot Daily reports:
Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has leveled the charge that the Biden administration officials leaked details of the planned trip to the press in order to stop the visit.
Pelosi and five other congressional Democrats visited the Asian island nation of Taiwan, which China still claims as part of its territory, on August 2nd.
The White House stated that the military opposed the visit and Pelosi did not officially announce the visit before she went leading to rumors that the Biden administration had leaked details to dissuade her from going.
“Any attack on me personally is not associated with the President but with some smaller anonymous voices within the administration who endangered the security of our visit by leaking the trip even before it was determined that we would indeed visit Taiwan. These small anonymous voices cannot be allowed to indicate any division between the White House and the Congress on Taiwan,” Pelosi said in a statement to The Washington Post, which reported the story Saturday.
White House officials strenuously denied Pelosi’s allegation to The Washington Post.
Communist China threatened to shoot down Pelosi’s plane if the lawmaker tried to visit Taiwan.
Chinese propagandist Hu Xijin, editor of China’s state-run Global Times, issued the threat on social media.
“If US fighter jets escort Pelosi’s plane into Taiwan, it is invasion,” Xijin said. “The PLA has the right to forcibly dispel Pelosi’s plane and the US fighter jets, including firing warning shots and making tactical movement of obstruction. If ineffective, then shoot them down.”
The White House’s response to the threat was quite weak.
Fox News reporter Peter Doocy asked White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre if President Joe Biden had a response to the threat.
“An official who is associated with Chinese State media is suggesting that if Speaker Pelosi tries to go to Taiwan that her plane could be shot down,” Doocy said. “Does the president have a response to that?”
“I know you’re asking specifically about the rhetoric that we’re hearing from China. But as it relates to the speaker’s travels, it’s something that we’re just not going to speak to. Right now, that’s a hypothetical. We’re just not going to speak on her schedule,” Jean-Pierre responded. “As we have said multiple times, we give advice and guidance to any members of Congress where they travel … But again, I’m not going to speak to a hypothetical.”
China flew 68 planes into Taiwan’s airspace, and sailed 13 ships into their waters in response to Pelosi’s visit. The communist nation also shot five missiles into Japan’s economic zone.
