Joe Biden is not messing around.
Biden is pushing the globalist agenda past where anyone thought possible.
Ron DeSantis sounded the alarm about this Joe Biden scheme to eliminate the U.S. dollar.
As Black Eye Politics reports:
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis warned Americans about the dangers of Joe Biden and the unaccountable Federal Reserve forcing everyone to use a digital dollar – Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) – issued by the government.
“Sometimes government does things that may appear to be benevolent but really are kind of like a wolf in sheep’s clothing,” DeSantis told investigative journalist John Stossel. “This is a wolf coming as a wolf.”
DeSantis explained that a CBDC controlled by Joe Biden and the federal government would open a Pandora’s box for abuses of power and government control over Americans’ lives.
“If you don’t trust central authority,” DeSantis added, “then you should see this immediately as something that is very problematic.”
The Biden administration claims a CBDC would “protect consumers, investors … and the environment.”
DeSantis scoffed at the comment noting that it was a dead giveaway that the administration planned to use a CBDC to punish political opponents and impose the left’s will on the nation.
The Florida governor told Stossel that a CDBC – which allows the government to track and monitor every transaction Americans make – could be used to shut down the bank accounts of Americans who eat too much meat or use gas stoves in the name of fighting climate change.
Joe Biden could also freeze the accounts of Americans who purchase firearms and ammunition.
This is a real threat.
Tyrannical Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau froze the accounts of truckers in the Freedom Convoy after they protested the government’s COVID vaccine mandate.
“That last one’s a tell,” DeSantis continued, “they would impose ideology certain criteria … ‘You’re filling up too much (with gas). Wait a minute — climate change. You can’t be doing that! You bought another firearm? No, no, no.’”
“This is part of our role,” he responds, citing federalism. “There’s a back and forth between the federal government and the states. We’re pushing back about things we don’t think are good.”
DeSantis expressed disbelief that the Federal Reserve left the door open to unilaterally implementing a CBDC.
“The Federal Reserve has come out and said, We would only do it after ‘consulting with the legislative and executive branches. Ideally, we’d get specific congressional authorization.’ Wait a minute! It’s not ideal that you get Congress. That’s what the Constitution requires!” DeSantis exclaimed.
