During Barack Obama’s Presidency, Obama tried to single out Fox News for ridicule and criticism.
After Donald Trump won the election, forces on the left took Obama’s attacks to the next level.
And now this show’s cancellation could be the final nail in Fox News’ coffin.
Ever since the Democratic National Committee banned Fox News from hosting one of their sure-to-be highly rated Presidential debates, Fox News bent over backwards to prove to the left that their candidates would receive a fair hearing.
That was capped by Bernie Sanders, Amy Klobuchar, and Pete Buttigieg agreeing to town halls.
But that momentum for Fox News came to a screeching halt when Elizabeth Warren tweeted out that she rejected an invitation from Fox News to appear on a network sponsored town hall.
I love town halls. I’ve done more than 70 since January, and I’m glad to have a television audience be a part of them. Fox News has invited me to do a town hall, but I’m turning them down—here’s why…
Fox News is a hate-for-profit racket that gives a megaphone to racists and conspiracists—it’s designed to turn us against each other, risking life and death consequences, to provide cover for the corruption that’s rotting our government and hollowing out our middle class.
Warren then went on to explain that part of her strategy was to choke off Fox News advertising dollars to force them to become another left-wing “news” network.
The Massachusetts Senator also tweeted:
But Fox News is struggling as more and more advertisers pull out of their hate-filled space. A Democratic town hall gives the Fox News sales team a way to tell potential sponsors it’s safe to buy ads on Fox—no harm to their brand or reputation (spoiler: It’s not).
Here’s one place we can fight back: I won’t ask millions of Democratic primary voters to tune into an outlet that profits from racism and hate in order to see our candidates—especially when Fox will make even more money adding our valuable audience to their ratings numbers.
When Donald Trump attacks CNN as fake news or the New York Times as the “enemy of the people” media reporters and so-called “journalists” clutch their pearls and falsely claim Trump is setting America on the path to 1930s Germany.
Fake News CNN’s chief paid liar Brian Stelter warned that Trump was “poisoning” the American people by exercising his First Amendment right to criticize the media.
Stelter claimed Trump launched an anti-American crusade against just and principled news organizations like CNN – which represent everything right with America.
“Trump is trying to destroy our news organizations,” Stelter said. “That has never happened in our nation’s history as far as I’m aware.”
But when Warren attacked Fox News as “hate for profit” and called on her supporters to bankrupt the network you could hear crickets chirping in the so-called “mainstream” media.
In his nightly media newsletter, Stelter did not defend Fox News or hyperventilate about how attacks on media organizations or trying to destroy them are “poison.”
The media’s collective yawn as Elizabeth Warren tried to attack Fox News and put them out of business shows that when the so-called “journalists” whine that Donald Trump is attacking the First Amendment by criticizing them, what they are really worried about is Americans waking up to the fact that the so-called “mainstream” media are nothing more than a collection of liars, political hacks and propagandists dedicated to advancing the Democrat Party agenda.
