Joe Biden’s political career is a sinking ship.
There may be no coming back from this latest disaster.
And Democrats have one trick up their sleeve to force out Joe Biden.
As Great American Daily reports:
A new Quinnipiac poll found Joe Biden’s approval rating cratering to 33 percent.
Other polls show Donald Trump leading Joe Biden in a 2024 rematch.
Americans soured on Biden after Biden facilitated an invasion at the southern border, spent trillions in new socialist spending sending inflation soaring which now appears ready to cause a recession.
Democrats evaluated the political reality of a 79-year-old Biden running for re-election with toxic poll numbers and realize Joe Biden cannot win re-election.
And that is leading to the unprecedented on-the-record comments from prominent Democrats in The New York Times to speak on how Joe Biden is too incompetent both mentally and politically to run for a second term.
“To say our country was on the right track would flagrantly depart from reality,” Florida Democratic National Committee member Steve Simeonidis stated also telling the Times that Biden “should announce his intent not to seek re-election in ‘24 right after the midterms.”
Barack Obama’s chief strategist David Axelrod went there and told the Times that Joe Biden’s age – he would be 86 at the end of a potential second term – would be a major issue in the 2024 election.
“The presidency is a monstrously taxing job and the stark reality is the president would be closer to 90 than 80 at the end of a second term, and that would be a major issue,” Axelrod began.
Axelrod added that he believed Joe Biden’s political standing took a hit due to the fact that Americans can see the toll Joe Biden’s advanced age took on his appearance.
“Biden doesn’t get the credit he deserves for steering the country through the worst of the pandemic, passing historic legislation, pulling the NATO alliance together against Russian aggression and restoring decency and decorum to the White House,” Axelrod added. “And part of the reason he doesn’t is performative. He looks his age and isn’t as agile in front of a camera as he once was, and this has fed a narrative about competence that isn’t rooted in reality.”
Bernie Sanders campaign manager Faiz Shakir wrote a memo outlining that Sanders would not rule out a 2024 campaign if Biden chose not to seek a second term and predicted that Joe Biden could not defeat Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in a 2024 matchup.
“If it’s DeSantis or somebody, I think that would be a different kind of a challenge,” Shakir stated.
Democrats were never wild about the idea of Joe Biden as president.
Now that it looks like Joe Biden’s outlived his political usefulness the party is ready to shove him off the stage.
