Hunter Biden’s legal problems continue to multiply.
It’s putting Biden in a bind.
And now Hunter Biden just made this insane request in front of a judge.
As Great American Daily reports:
According to recently filed court documents, Hunter Biden reportedly has requested to have child support payments lowered, citing financial hardships.
The mother of Hunter Biden’s love child, Lunden Roberts, says that Hunter Biden has never met his four-year-old daughter.
President Biden’s son asked an Arkansas judge to recalculate the child support payments. Hunter claimed that there had been “a substantial material change” in his “financial circumstances, including but not limited to his income,” for the reason behind his request.
His attorney said that a change in child support guidelines in Arkansas in 2020 was behind Hunter’s push to change payments.
“Like many other individuals whose child support obligations were calculated before the new guidelines took effect, Mr. Biden has asked the court to review the existing child support determination and to establish an amount of child support that complies with the current guidelines and circumstances,” Langdon said in a statement.
Roberts’ attorney, Clint Lancaster, is doubtful about Hunter Biden’s claims and said that there needs to be a closer look into his financial status.
“Ultimately, this is going to require us to look deeply, more deeply, into Hunter’s finances,” Lancaster said. “I’m going to want to have a deposition with Mr. Biden. Like last time, I’m going to bring my forensic accountant to the deposition, unless the judge tells me I can’t.”
He added: “Unless he’s going to pay me to fly to California to take his deposition, he’s going to have to come to Arkansas.”
Hunter Biden has turned to art to support himself since his father entered the White House.
At least five prints of Hunter Biden’s artwork have already been sold for $75,000 each.
The original artwork is being sold for up to $500,000.
Walter Shaub, the former director of Obama’s Office of Government Ethics, warned last year that Hunter Biden’s art could be the “perfect mechanism” for bribing the president on CNN.
“I mean, they have outsourced Government Ethics to an art dealer… It’s an industry that’s notorious for money laundering,” Shaub said. “There’s no standards in that industry, and the idea that they’re going to flag any overly priced offers, well this is art that hasn’t even been juried into a community art sale. How is, how are they going to decide what’s unreasonable when they’ve already priced it in the range of $75,000 to $500,000 for a first outing? This is just preposterous and very disappointing.”
Shaub noted that there is nothing that can be done to monitor the situation to “make sure that Hunter Biden or anyone in the White House doesn’t find out, that the dealer keeps his or her promise that the buyers don’t call the White House, ask for a meeting and say, ‘Hey, I just bought the President’s son’s art for $500,000.’”
