Kamala Harris is the least popular Vice President in the last 50 years.
There is good reason for that.
And Kamala Harris was humiliated after Americans learned of this brutal failure.
As American Patriot Daily reports:
Back in March, Joe Biden named Kamala Harris as his administration’s border czar to try and alleviate the criticism that Biden opened the borders to illegal aliens and refused to address the crisis.
Harris quickly tried to disavow the role claiming her only job was to address the root causes of migration.
But to many Americans, it was a distinction without a difference.
Ever since Biden tapped Harris for this position, the situation at the border deteriorated.
In July – the last month numbers are available – the Border Patrol intercepted over 212,000 illegal aliens – a 21-yearrecord.
Law enforcement experts also projected 2,000,000 illegal aliens would pour over the border in 2021.
The vice president’s response is to do nothing.
Harris’ failure became more obvious in the wake of an announcement by the Biden administration that it would build border security facilities on the Tajik-Afghan-Uzbek border to allow troops to secure that border from imminent threats.
“The U.S. Embassy in Dushanbe has launched a project to construct new facilities for a Border Service detachment along the Tajik-Afghan-Uzbek border, allowing Tajikistan’s border troops to deploy more quickly in response to threats in the region, the embassy said in a press release Wednesday,” Fox News reported.
The Biden administration spending taxpayer money to secure Afghanistan’s border while leaving America’s border open to an invasion of illegal aliens smacked many as an insult.
Border Patrol officials were not happy.
“With the record setting pace of nearly a million encounters so far at the southern border, it’s heartening to see the Biden administration finally getting serious about border security. It’s just too bad it’s in another country,” a senior border official snarked to Fox News.
Another Border Patrol agent told Fox News that “This is a slap in the face to us.”
Polling shows Kamala Harris is the least popular vice president in at least the last 50 years.
Harris owed her unpopularity in large part to her failure as border czar to bring the illegal immigration crisis to a close.
Should – as seems likely – Kamala Harris run as the Democrat Party nominee for president in 2024, Harris will have to explain why her administration pulled out all the stops to secure the Tajik-Afghan-Uzbek border while opening America’s southern border to millions of illegal aliens during her time in office.
Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton in 2016 in large part because of Clinton’s support for the pro-amnesty, pro-open borders status quo.
Should Donald Trump mount a comeback in 2024 and square off with Harris in the general election, Trump could rerun that playbook.
