Joe Biden’s Presidency is collapsing.
The worst may be yet to come.
And now the Supreme Court will be very interested at what Tucker Carlson said about Joe Biden.
As Black Eye Politics reports:
In June, the Supreme Court ruled the Centers for Disease Control’s moratorium on evictions violated the law as only Congress can pass laws spending money to bail out renters.
But Justice Brett Kavanaugh – who wrote the opinion – left the ban in place because it was set to expire on July 31 leaving Congress one month to devise a solution to the fact renters didn’t have to pay landlords for 15 months with no repercussions.
Democrats could not muster 218 votes in the House, so Congress left town and let the rental market go back to the pre-pandemic status quo where renters had to pay landlords just like the rental market existed as since the beginning of contracts.
The socialist left went nuts and – even though the pandemic emergency long ago ended – saw an opportunity to turn rental properties into a socialist government-run housing program.
Pro-“defund the police” Congresswoman Cori Bush slept on the steps of the Capitol for days in protest.
After several days, Joe Biden caved and announced the Centers for Disease Control would pursue a new order to impose a Cuba-style system where the government controls private property.
Biden also admitted the previous Supreme Court case rendered the order illegal, but that Biden intended to break the law anyway.
“I’ve sought out constitutional scholars. To determine what is the best possibility, that would come from executive action or the CDC judgment. What could they do that was most likely to pass muster? Constitutionally. The bulk of the constitutional scholarship says that it’s not likely to pass constitutional muster. Number one. But there are several key scholars who think that it may and it’s worth the effort,” Biden told reporters.
On his Fox News show, Tucker Carlson said only one word described men like Joe Biden that admitted they intended to break the law – and that is “criminal.”
“So the eviction moratorium has been in place for months, it has just been extended as of today. So people have debated this, jurists have weighed in on it, and so we know, it won’t pass, ‘constitutional muster,’ says Biden. In other words, it’s illegal. The people doing it are criminals. That’s the word we use for people who knowingly break the law. But like most criminals, they’re not embarrassed by breaking the law, that’s what they do,” Carlson stated.
The National Association of Realtors already filed a legal challenge to this plan to put rental housing under federal control.
And Joe Biden admitting he was a lawless thug will not endear him to the Supreme Court.
