For six years the corporate media predicted Donald Trump’s demise.
At every turn the liberal media’s been wrong.
And Donald Trump flattened Democrats with three brutal words.
As Black Eye Politics reports:
Nearly two years after Donald Trump left office, the liberal media has concocted its most egregious lie about Trump yet.
And this time, the narrative isn’t that he’s doing a horrible job or that he’s caused some sort of fake scandal.
Rather, the narrative being perpetuated by the media about Trump today is that he is old news.
Trump is no longer being portrayed as a “threat” to left-wing interests or even a danger to the American people like he was for years by the media.
Today, the media wants to simply sweep Trump under the rug and make people forget about him.
But now, the true reason why the media is choosing to run with this new tactic when addressing Trump is finally coming to light.
And it’s all because Trump is actually stronger than ever before.
The Washington Examiner reports, “Now two of the nation’s leading Republican pollsters who have strong ties to Trump are explaining why he remains ‘as strong as ever’ to take the nomination and beat President Joe Biden.
“John and Jim McLaughlin, who run McLaughlin & Associates, recently released their poll that shows the former president ahead of DeSantis 48%-23%, just as popular as he was on Election Day last month, and leading Biden 48%-45%.”
While Trump by no means has the Republican nomination under lock, it’s clear that he still stands a very good chance of winning the party’s support for a third presidential run.
And perhaps more importantly, he remains a formidable opponent against Joe Biden in a potential 2024 re-match.
Only once before in history has a former president come back to defeat their previous opponent in a presidential re-match, and Trump is seeking to be just the second man ever to achieve such a feat.
But despite the media trying to paint Trump as washed-up old news, it’s clear from the polls that Trump is anything but finished.
The Washington Examiner adds, “Polls often undercount Trump’s support, as was shown in both 2016 and 2020, and promote Democrats. ‘Do they think that the voters have forgotten the ‘Hillary Lock’ of 2016 and the ‘Biden Blue Wave’ of 2020?’ the duo asked.”
Part of the reason the mainstream media is trying to ignore Trump as best as they can is because they are terrified of Joe Biden losing in 2024.
Whether it is Trump, DeSantis, or someone else, Republicans are likely favored to defeat Joe Biden in the next election because of how deeply unpopular he has become over the last two years.
And by ignoring Trump, who remains the current favorite for the Republican presidential nomination, the media is implicitly attempting to ignore the Republican Party altogether.
But the results from this poll show that the media should only ignore Trump at their own peril.
