Jon Stewart is known for going round the bend with his political views.
But this was too much to take.
And Jon Stewart went on a woke rant that will put your jaw on the floor.
“The Daily Show” host Jon Stewart showed just how hard it will be for Democrats to dig themselves out of the hole they find themselves in following the 2024 election.
Democrats siloed themselves off from the broader electorate by thinking the majority of Americans actually bought into the delusions that men could be women or that America was a historically racist country that needed to constantly atone for the sins of its past.
The voters gave Donald Trump a mandate to dismantle woke.
And President Trump got right to work signing executive orders banning DEI programs in government and ordering the Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division to investigate DEI programs in the private sector for racial discrimination.
DEI programs are citadels of anti-white racism and DEI bureaucracies are how the left captured academia, corporate America, and even the military.
That’s because the true purpose of DEI programs is to brainwash employees into carrying out work duties and reorienting each institution’s mission to comply with critical race theory and gender identity.
Once all work produced flows from the starting point of compliance of the employees applying the gender and racial ideology the DEI commissars beat into their heads, an institution became an appendage of the Democrat Party.
And yet as unpopular as DEI programs are – major corporations like Apple, Amazon, McDonald’s and Walmart junked them at the first opportunity following the election – the left-wing base can’t give up on it.
Jon Stewart proved that in his interview with Reason Magazine editor-at-large Nick Gillespie where Stewart claimed the problem with DEI was that true DEI hasn’t been tried.
Apologists of the Soviet Union would claim a variation of this, claiming Russia failed to advance economically because true socialism had yet to be put into practice.
Stewart claimed the problem with DEI is Americans understood it to mean corporate seminars where HR staffers berated you for wrong think.
“Maybe this is a different way to frame kind of DEI. So, for me, if if you reframe that argument economically it maybe aligns a little bit more with how you feel. Because what I think diversity and inclusion and equity means, maybe not in the practice — and I don’t think it means sitting through that hour-long seminar where everybody looks at each other and goes, I never said that about her ass — like, it’s not that,” Stewart claimed.
Stewart tried to argue that DEI programs were really just merit-based hiring plans.
“But I look at it as more competition. You know, we have supply lines in this country, entrenched poverty and groups that have been explicitly kept out of, you know, equity through government action and all kinds of other ways. If you reanimate those supply lines, you strengthen the result. You know, don’t think of it as diversity, think of it as emerging markets. Think of it as as that. And suddenly you view it as an engine of economic growth, right?” Stewart added.
Gillespie agreed and noted that sports leagues improved after eliminating the color barrier.
That was totally different as sports are a merit-based enterprise.
DEI programs are so racial and gender quotas can just impose discrimination on different groups – namely Asians and whites.
But Stewart lost the plot.
Those seminars are the core of DEI because the indoctrination sessions that take place sit at the core of the left’s intellectual capture of institutions.
