President Trump wanted Kash Patel to clean house at the FBI.
Director Patel got right to work.
And Kash Patel revealed the deep state’s darkest secrets with one stroke of his pen.
As Conservative Reboot reports:
Kash Patel Is the Most Transparent FBI Director in Many Years
Kash Patel is a very unusual FBI director, and conservatives are happy to finally have someone who is committed to transparency in the department.
Part of this transparency involved being honest about mistakes or misdeeds that the department has been involved in before, and Patel is apparently very serious about this part of his job.
Whereas some other FBI directors may have stonewalled Congress when they seek information about FBI misdeeds, Patel is happily providing it.
He clearly thinks it is important to keep Congress and the American public informed.
This is a major break from the past, and it could lead to some jarring new information about what the FBI has done.
This doesn’t just mean things they did many years ago under the tyranny of J. Edgar Hoover, but even recently under Biden.
And it will be fascinating to see what Patel produces for the public as he releases new information.
Patel Is Working to Get Congress as Much Information as Possible About Past FBI Scandals
According to Fox News, “FBI Director Kash Patel is working ‘aggressively’ to comply ahead of schedule with congressional document requests in an effort to follow through on his commitment for the bureau to provide transparency to the American people, Fox News Digital has learned.”
“On Friday, the FBI sent a letter to the House Judiciary Committee notifying the panel that it was handing over a tranche of documents pursuant to a subpoena from Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio.”
Former Attorney General Merrick Garland could find himself at the center of this, as a lot of these documents pertain to things that took place under his leadership.
Garland may not be happy to see Patel handing these documents out, and he may be deciding whether to respond publicly.
The article continues, “Fox News Digital has learned that the records shared by the FBI included more than 400 pages on topics the committee had long been seeking, dating back to the Biden administration, relating to topics such as former Attorney General Merrick Garland’s school board memo and the Jan. 6 pipe bomb investigation.”
“Fox News Digital has learned that the documents production included ‘minimal redactions’ and that the FBI plans to turn over additional records to the House Judiciary Committee on those topics in the coming weeks.”
Considering how controversial Garland’s school board decision was at the time, when he sent a memo denouncing parents who were protesting at school boards, it will be interesting to see what went into that decision.
There has been significant speculation in conservative circles that he did it at the behest of left-wing interest groups.
If that is true, it will surely come out in the documents that Patel releases.
Either way, these documents are sure to be a treasure trove of information, and many people are thrilled that the FBI is finally operating in a spirit of transparency and not secrecy.
