All hell is breaking loose inside the Democrat Party.
This is one of the nastiest fights Washington has ever seen.
And John Fetterman asked Ilhan Omar this question that made Democrats weak in the knees.
The American left ripped off the mask and showed the ugly face of anti-Semitism that dominates the Democrat Party.
Left-wing activists took to high schools, college campuses, the streets and even staged an insurrection in the U.S. Capitol to show their support for Hamas in the wake of the terrorist group’s barbaric attacks which was the worst slaughter of Jews since the Holocaust.
The left’s rage kicked up to 11 when Hamas claimed an explosion at the Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza City was the result of an Israeli missile strike and that 500 people died.
Media outlets such as The New York Times as well as members of Congress Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib accepted the Hamas story as gospel.
“Bombing a hospital is among the gravest of war crimes. The IDF reportedly blowing up one of the few places the injured and wounded can seek medical treatment and shelter during a war is horrific. @POTUS needs to push for an immediate ceasefire to end this slaughter,” Omar ranted on X.
“Israel just bombed the Baptist Hospital killing 500 Palestinians (doctors, children, patients) just like that. @POTUS this is what happens when you refuse to facilitate a ceasefire & help de-escalate. Your war and destruction only approach has opened my eyes and many Palestinian Americans and Muslims Americans like me. We will remember where you stood,” Tlaib posted on social media.
This was all a lie.
Geotargeting and audio evidence showed the reason behind the hospital explosion was a misfired rocket from Palestinian jihadists.
The truth of the matter is that the base of the American left is anti-Israel and pro-Palestine.
Omar, Tlaib and The New York Times happily ran with the Hamas falsehood because it fit their belief that the Israelis are violent oppressors, and the people of Gaza are innocent victims.
And it came down to John Fetterman – of all people – to act like the voice of reason wondering why so many in his party were eager to line up with an Islamic terrorist organization against Israel.
“It’s truly disturbing that Members of Congress rushed to blame Israel for the hospital tragedy in Gaza. Who would take the word of a group that just massacred innocent Israeli civilians over our key ally?” Fetterman posted.
“I will always stand with Israel and look forward to supporting any military, intelligence, or humanitarian aid to get the job done,” Fetterman concluded.
