There was no brand in America that learned “go woke and go broke” is a real thing more than Bud Light.
Consumers boycotted the beer en masse after the company dove headfirst into the culture war.
And now Tucker Carlson was shocked to learn what just happened to the Bud Light boycott.
The Bud Light boycott began after a sponsorship deal with transgender social media influencer Dylan Mulvaney.
Music stars like Kid Rock and Travis Tritt led the boycott on the grounds that Bud Light saw Mulvaney’s millions of social media followers as a gateway to promote transgenderism to young people.
The cost of the boycott was staggering.
An August 3 CNN article revealed Bud Light lost $395 million in sales.
On October 31 Fortune reported Bud Light sales cratered 13 percent.
But instead of apologizing to their customers for offending their values, Bud Light tried to buy off their sins by paying indulgences.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship is the one major sport closely associated with Donald Trump.
President Dana White and many fighters are vocal supporters of Trump.
When Trump attends UFC fight cards the crowds treat him like a conquering hero returning home.

And that’s why Bud Light inked a $100 million deal to become the official beer of UFC in the hopes that the association with one of the most pro-Trump brands in America would win back their lost customers.
White defended the deal in an interview with Tucker Carlson going so far as to say drinking Bud Light was an act of patriotism.
“If you consider yourself a patriot, you should be drinking gallons of Bud Light,” White stated. “Believe me when I tell you.”
This caught Carlson off guard who understood drinking Bud Light as a sign of accommodation to the transgender agenda.
“Wait, I should be boycotting Bud Light!” Carlson shot back.
White wouldn’t budge an inch.
“Gallons of Bud Light,” White stated. “You should have Bud Light drums stacked up in your garage and drinking it right out of the keg.”
White claimed Bud Light was more in line with Carlson’s values because the company donates to Republican politicians.
“They are way more aligned with you than most of these other beer companies are. That I guarantee you. Take it from somebody who’s in the know, who does business with beer companies. You are way more aligned with Bud Light than you are with any other beer company,” White added.
But White also acknowledged he caught heat for the Bud Light deal but defended going into business with the woke beer brand.
“I know who I am,” White concluded. “I know what I stand for. I know what I believe in, and the people who are close to me know. And I’m on the right side of this. Believe me when I tell you.”
Conservatives weren’t persuaded and doubled down on their calls to boycott Bud Light.
The idea that Bud Light has sufficiently apologized by giving 100 million dollars to Dana White is just insane. Dana White isn’t the one harmed by the trans ideology they pushed. If they had given 100 million to a detrans fund or something, that would be different. But they didnt
