Texas Congressman Dan Crenshaw likes to present himself as a champion of the conservative movement.
But that is all just an act.
And what Dan Crenshaw just did on Fox News will have conservatives up in arms.
As Conservative Revival reports:
During the drama over conservatives opposing Kevin McCarthy for Speaker of the House establishment RINOs like Dan Crenshaw became enraged over the fact that the conservatives began to win concessions that would drain the swamp’s power to dominate Congress.
In an appearance on establishment aligned Guy Benson’s radio show Crenshaw compared the conservatives opposing McCarthy to “terrorists.”

Texas Senator Ted Cruz weighed in during an episode of his “The Verdict” podcast where Cruz advised Crenshaw to back off and stop smearing McCarthy’s conservative opposition.
“My view is settle down. This will work out and it’ll be fine,” Cruz declared. “That kind of overheated rhetoric, calling people ‘terrorists,’ is not terribly conducive to anything resembling Republican unity. It’s not conducive to having strong leadership for the next two years in the House, engaging in vitriol and personal attacks.”
Crenshaw offered up his response to Cruz in an appearance on Never Trump Fox News host Neal Cavuto’s show.
“He’s called American citizens terrorists multiple times, so I don’t know if he really wants to play that game,” Crenshaw stated.
And in fact, Cruz had outrageously called Trump supporters protesting on January 6 domestic terrorists.
Cruz echoed Joe Biden’s talking points until apologizing in the middle of an interview with Tucker Carlson.
But even a RINO like Crenshaw knew he went too far in attacking the conservatives opposing McCarthy because the issue caught on with the grassroots.
“Look, I do not think these people are terrorists to the extent that my colleagues took offense to that,” Crenshaw stated. “I’ve gone up to them and said, ‘of course I didn’t mean it that way.’ We were speaking in terms of a very difficult negotiation where sometimes you use a turn of phrase about not giving into terrorists.”
Crenshaw tried to make it seem like this was a simple disagreement over tactics.
“The only thing I disagree with them on is how long it could have taken to get to this point,” Crenshaw added. “This rules package that we’ve agreed on, these processes that we’ve agreed on, these are very agreeable things. They will make it more difficult, but that’s what we want.”
In reality, Crenshaw wanted a fight with conservatives.
Crenshaw supports red flag confiscation laws and back writing a blank check for Joe Biden’s war in Ukraine to the hilt.
In the past, Crenshaw’s called conservative “grifters” and joined the Main Street Caucus, a group of moderate Republicans that vote more often than not with Democrats.
Many in the establishment view Crenshaw as the next John McCain.
And Crenshaw is more than happy to play the role of RINO pretending to be on the right so he run to corporate media outlets and knife conservatives in the back.
