Donald Trump got some bad news.
Trump is facing a replay of what happened in 2020.
And now Elon Musk is about to hand Joe Biden the 2024 election with one unthinkable double-cross.
Joe Biden narrowly squeaked by in the Electoral College with a 44,000-vote margin across Arizona, Georgia and Wisconsin.
Biden owed his win to the fact that Big Tech censored negative stories about Biden that could have swung the election to Trump.
Facebook and Twitter censored a New York Post report about emails on Hunter Biden’s laptop outlining an alleged foreign influence peddling scheme which implicated Joe Biden.
But because the FBI and 51 former Deep State agents all falsely claimed the laptop was Russian disinformation Big Tech suppressed the story and the media refused to cover the evidence of allegations of corruption against Joe Biden.
A Media Research Center poll taken after the election demonstrated this censorship proved decisive as the survey found one in six Joe Biden voters would not have supported Biden if they knew about the scandals.
When Elon Musk purchased Twitter, Trump supporters thought they would get a fair shake as Musk promised a commitment to free speech.
But Musk is now repeating the worst mistakes of 2020 by instituting a new “Civic Integrity Policy” to police so-called “misinformation” during the election.
“During elections, our Civic Integrity Policy provides an extra layer of protection that is applied for a limited period of time before and during an election,” a blog post for X – the app formerly known as Twitter – laid out in its explanation of the new policy. “We’re updating this policy to make sure we strike the right balance between tackling the most harmful types of content—those that could intimidate or deceive people into surrendering their right to participate in a civic process—and not censoring political debate.”
The “Civic Integrity Policy” would follow through with Musk’s plan to suppress the reach of posts deemed so-called “misinformation” as opposed to outright banning the “offending” account.
“The policy will also be aligned with our updated enforcement philosophy, Freedom of Speech, Not Reach. We will add publicly visible labels to posts identified as potentially violating the Civic Integrity Policy, letting people know when their reach has been restricted,” the blog post continued.
So-called “misinformation” has one definition – and that is any speech the left disagrees with or contradicts their narratives.
If X will police so-called “misinformation” during the election it is a sure bet that those who enforce this rule will bias their decisions towards what will help Joe Biden defeat Donald Trump.
