House Republicans opened an impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden.
But not all is as it seems.
And Trey Gowdy discovered this disturbing truth about impeaching Joe Biden.
Colorado Republican Congressman Ken Buck is a member of the House Freedom Caucus.
However, that doesn’t mean Buck is always fighting the left.
Buck was one of Liz Cheney’s loudest defenders when Cheney began working for Nancy Pelosi to smear Trump over the events of January 6.
And Buck also defended the Biden administration and Democrat prosecutors indicting Trump in an election year and saying Trump’s response, and not the blatantly partisan prosecution, crossed the line.
Now Buck’s taken it upon himself to serve as Joe Biden’s public defender in the impeachment inquiry.
Appearing on Trey Gowdy’s Fox News shows Buck repeated the debunked talking point concocted by Democrats and the media that there is no evidence of Joe Biden’s connection to Hunter Biden’s business deals.
“The evidence is very strong against Hunter Biden,” Buck stated. “There is very little evidence that links Hunter Biden with Joe Biden.”
This ignores the bank records showing the Biden family and their associates collecting $21 million in payments from foreign oligarchs when Joe Biden served as vice president.
Then-Vice President Biden later appeared at a dinner at Café Milano with some of these oligarchs.
Hunter Biden business associate Devon Archer testified that Hunter Biden put Joe Biden on speakerphone 20 times during business meetings.
And Hunter Biden sent a text to his sister complaining about the fact that he had to turn over half his money to Joe Biden.
Buck then claimed there was nothing corrupt about Joe Biden bragging about pressuring the president of Ukraine to fire a prosecutor investigating Burisma – the energy company paying Hunter Biden to sit on its board of directors – or else Biden would withhold $1 billion in American aid.
“The theory, I guess, is Burisma paid money to Hunter Biden so Joe Joe Biden would fire Shokin because Shokin was investigating Burisma,” Buck added. “One, there is little to no evidence he was investigating Burisma. Two, Shokin was targeted by the European Union as well as our State Department to be fired he was more corrupt than the people he was investigating. And three, there is very little evidence to no evidence that suggests Hunter Biden shared the money he got with Joe Biden so that Joe Biden would do something or that Joe Biden knew Hunter Biden was getting money so that Joe Biden would take these acts.”
Buck reciting Joe Biden and the media’s script to Trey Gowdy stunned conservatives.
Within 72 hours it became obvious why.
Buck confirmed to the New York Post that he is seeking a job as a commentator at CNN.
“I am interested in talking to folks at CNN and other news organizations — on the, I don’t want to call them left, but sort of center-left — and having an opportunity to do that full-time or do that as a contributor would be great also,” Buck stated.
CNN isn’t going to hire anyone who doesn’t feed its liberal audience the pro-Joe Biden and anti-Trump narrative it tunes in to hear.
That’s why Never Trump RINOs like Adam Kinzinger are CNN’s “Republican” contributors.
So it looked like Ken Buck wanted to prove to the shot-callers at CNN that he could play ball by going on Trey Gowdy’s Fox News show and trashing the GOP’s impeachment inquiry.
