Joy Behar and her fellow co-hosts on “The View” are some of the most disliked liberals in the media.
But that doesn’t mean they don’t have influence on the left.
Now Joy Behar made one demand about the 2024 election that backfired on Democrats.
Democrats are freaking out over the fact that inflation refuses to simmer down.
The March report showed prices rising 3.5 percent year-over-year showing that Bidenflation is here to stay.
Americans believe Donald Trump is better suited to handle inflation – inflation was under two percent when Trump left office – and as a result, Trump is leading Biden in the polls.
Former chief of staff Ron Klain took Biden to task for not recognizing the enormity of the situation and the threat it posed to his re-election campaign.
“I think the president is out there too much talking about bridges,” Klain stated. “He does two or three events a week where he’s cutting a ribbon on a bridge. And here’s a bridge. Like I tell you, if you go into the grocery store, you go to the grocery store and, you know, eggs and milk are expensive, the fact that there’s a f—ing bridge is not [inaudible].”
“He’s not a congressman. He’s not running for Congress,” Klain lamented. “I think it’s kind of a fool’s errand. I think that [it] also doesn’t get covered that much because, look, it’s a f—ing bridge. Like it’s a bridge, and how interesting is the bridge? It’s a little interesting, but it’s not a lot interesting.”
The co-hosts of “The View” reacted to Klain’s comments by falsely claiming Joe Biden isn’t to blame for inflation.
“If people knew civics, they would know that’s not his, listen, he doesn’t,” Whoopi Goldberg stated.
Inflation was under control when Trump was president and it only started to surge after Biden pumped $1.9 trillion in newly printed money into the economy in March 2021.
Even fake conservative and Never-Trumper co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin chided Biden for not doing everything in his power to tame inflation.
“There are absolutely things that Biden can do to address it and grocery prices have jumped 25% over four years,” Griffin stated.
The easiest thing for Biden to do is slash spending, but that would interfere with the left’s ultimate political project of turning America into a socialist welfare state.
Joy Behar jumped in to tell Griffin that RINOs like her have no choice but to vote for Joe Biden even if he is failing on every issue because defeating Donald Trump is what matters.
“People who are like you, who say that you hate, can’t stand Trump, you have to vote for Biden,” Behar declared.
But co-host Sara Haines interjected with a word of warning.
Polls show inflation and the border are the top issues in the election.
Donald Trump won in 2016 because he campaigned on the issues the American people cared about – ending foreign wars, renegotiating trade deals, and securing the border – while Hillary Clinton focused on identity politics and shrieking about how Donald Trump “wasn’t normal.”
“Joy, I would argue Trump won the first time because people weren’t always listening and watching the problem for what it was,” Haines cautioned.
If Democrats follow Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg’s advice, Griffin and Haines are worried that Democrats will risk a repeat of 2016.
