“Sound of Freedom” was the most powerful movie of the summer and one of the biggest financial hits to come out of Hollywood.
Woke liberals were furious.
And now Joe Biden canceled “Sound of Freedom” with this unthinkable order.
“Sound of Freedom” tells the story of how Homeland Security Agent Tim Ballard staged a daring rescue mission in South America that rescued 55 children from child sex traffickers.
Ballard went on to found Operation Underground Railroad to combat the global scourge of child sex trafficking.
The film turned into a smash hit despite the fact that Disney spent five years trying to bury the film, it had no marketing budget and the main industry trades refused to review the movie.
Mainly through word of mouth and promotion by conservatives on social media the film shocked Hollywood by raking in a $190 million box-office haul against only a $14 million budget.
This film hit home with viewers.
U.S. Southern Command planned to show the film twice at its headquarters.
And both times the Biden Defense Department canceled the screenings.
“U.S. Southern Command planned, and then canceled, two showings of the Christian-faith-based thriller ‘Sound of Freedom’ at its headquarters this summer. The movie’s been a runaway hit, grossing more than $200 million, but its lead actor has publicly linked the film’s anti-sex-trafficking plot to baseless QAnon conspiracy theories,” the Military Times reported.
Biden officials somehow thought a movie about the evils of child sex traffickers was a “partisan” statement.
Officials also falsely claimed the movie promoted the QAnon conspiracy theory.
“By playing the movie on a federal base, some critics have questioned whether SOUTHCOM’s leadership is following a policy that requires troops to remain apolitical at work – as QAnon followers have spread false rumors about and bashed President Joe Biden’s administration – and to maintain a separation of church and state, considering the film’s heavy Christian narrative,” the Military Times also reported.
Star Jim Caviezel is an open Trump supporter – and one of the few open Trump supporters in Hollywood – but the film is not a partisan statement.
But because Donald Trump screened the film in Bedminster and the movie became a hit outside of the liberal studio system the press smeared the movie as part of a conspiracy theory even though it is based on a true story.
Since the media is opposed to the film Democrat politicians need to think the film is dangerous and unworthy of anyone watching it.
And that is why the Biden Pentagon repeatedly canceled screenings of “Sound of Freedom.”
