Adam Schiff is still pursuing Donald Trump to the ends of the earth.
The witch hunt Schiff began with the Russia collusion hoax is now moving into its end game.
And Adam Schiff suffered a humiliating defeat that left Trump grinning from ear to ear.
The Judicial Conference rejected an attempt by Adam Schiff to further weaponize the justice system by putting cameras in the courtroom for the trials of Donald Trump.
Joe Biden prosecutor Jack Smith indicted Donald Trump on frivolous charges using novel legal theories in the Mar-a-Lago document dispute and the January 6 investigations.
Smith demanded quick trials as his main purpose is to serve the interests of the Democrat Party which require a sham trial followed by conviction of Donald Trump before the 2024 election.
Polls show voters don’t believe Joe Biden is mentally fit to be president due to his age and cognitive decline.
The polls also show the voters believe Biden is a failed president who made their lives worse by letting the inflation genie out of the bottle.
That combination also explains why the polls show Donald Trump well-positioned to defeat Joe Biden in the general election.
If the 2024 election is a referendum on Joe Biden’s record in office then Democrats know they are up a creek without a paddle.
That’s why Adam Schiff and 36 other Democrats penned a letter to Judicial Conference Secretary U.S. District Judge Roslynn Mauskopf demanding the conference turn Trump’s upcoming trials into this generation’s version of the O.J. Simpson trial by lifting the federal ban on cameras in the courtroom.
“Given the historic nature of the charges brought forth in these cases, it is hard to imagine a more powerful circumstance for televised proceedings,” Schiff and his fellow Democrats wrote. “If the public is to fully accept the outcome, it will be vitally important for it to witness, as directly as possible, how the trials are conducted, the strength of the evidence adduced and the credibility of witnesses.”
Schiff and the Democrats know televised Trump trials during the election season will blot out the sun.
Joe Biden could confess to personally allowing Hunter Biden to sell access to him as vice president or forget who his wife is and all the media will focus on for any given day is the facial expressions of the jurors to try and judge how they reacted to the latest developments in court.
But for once, Democrats could not weaponize the justice system in their favor.
The Judicial Conference put out its new guidelines which allow for cameras in the courtroom for civil cases and bankruptcies, but the conference would also continue to ban televised proceedings for criminal cases.
“The Judicial Conference of the United States on Tuesday approved a change to its broadcast policy that expands the public’s access to civil and bankruptcy proceedings over the Judiciary’s longstanding pre-COVID policy, which prohibited all remote public access to federal court proceedings,” the Judicial Conference’s updated guidelines read.
“The change approved Tuesday does not extend to criminal proceedings. Temporary permission to conduct some criminal proceedings by videoconference or teleconference, which had been granted under the 2020 CARES Act, ended on May 10, 2023. Courts have already discontinued use of virtual criminal proceedings, except as otherwise authorized. The revision also does not affect a judge’s ability to allow parties and counsel to appear remotely by teleconference and videoconference,” the updated guidelines continued.
