Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis is lashing out in a desperate bid to keep her trial against Donald Trump on track.
Democrats are counting on Willis.
But now Fani Willis just made one threat that instantly blew up in her face.
Trump co-defendant Michael Roman threw Willis’ criminal indictment against Trump over the 2020 election into chaos by filing a motion to disqualify Willis based on the allegation Willis had an affair with special prosecutor Nathan Wade and the two used the trial to enrich themselves by Wade billing the county $654,000 and then diverting some of those funds to pay for the couple to go on vacation.
Roman’s allegations stem from a divorce proceeding between Wade and his estranged wife Joycelyn who subpoenaed Willis to testify.
Willis never denied having an affair with Wade but instead filed a motion to quash the subpoena and threatened Joycelyn Wade with criminal charges for “obstructing and interfering” in her trial of Donald Trump.
Joycelyn Wade’s attorneys forcefully rejected these charges and stated that Willis had information about Joycelyn and Nathan Wade’s marriage falling apart that is vital for the court to hear in determining the division of assets.
“The arguments asserted by Ms. Willis are disingenuous, specious, and her claimed basis for same fails as a matter of law. Upon information and belief, Ms. Wills has information and knowledge directly relevant to alleged conduct of the Plaintiff that would be considered by the Court asto equitable division of the marital estate, dissipation of marital assets, and spousal support.” Joycelyn Wade’s attorneys wrote in a court filing.
“Furthermore, Ms. Wilis’s implied threat to pursue charges against Defendant and her counsel, based on inconvenient facts from her personal life that are directly relevant to the ongoing divorce proceedings in the above-styled action, is an affront to the integrity of her office,” the motion added.
But Joycelyn Wade appears to have the receipts.
Joycelyn Wade produced bank records showing Wade paying for flights and cruises in Willis’ name during the time period the two worked on the Trump case.

Now Judge Scott McAfee must consider if Willis and Wade worked the Trump case to fill their personal piggy bank and fund a jet-setting lifestyle.
